Lago Doce, 5 Star Beach Front Resort
Based on our findings we perform due diligence on the project owners and construction companies involved, and enter into exclusive agreements, where we actually invest upfront on behalf of our clients, into the development. The property that we feel is the current best investment that we can offer our clients is then presented here, and we create detailed project and investment overviews with the assistance of our sister company, elysian Investments.
The Lago Doce Hotel and Beach Resort, Truly 5 Stars.
Built by world renowned and top award winning MD Concept, the company behind the JK Bridge and the Fortaleza International Airport, established since 1986.

The Lago Doce Hotel and Beach Resort was conceived with the vacation home, retirement home, and permanent home market in mind. Being situated in Brazil's favorite holiday hotspot, and being developed by such a trusted builder, The Lago Doce Hotel and Beach Resort is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the Brazilian property market, which is certain to grow in demand, not least due to the fact that 27 million new homes will be required in Brazil over the next few years, estimated by Reuters. This is largely due to the fact that financing has just become available, which means that millions more Brazilians can afford to purchase, couple this with low unemployment levels and huge economic growth, this is one project that cannot be missed from any investors portfolio.
It is easy to see why The Financial Times has just stated that Brazil is "The best place to put your money for the next 10 years", and Goldman Sachs have stated that Brazil, along with Russian, India and China, will grow faster than any other economies in the world until 2050, in a thesis called the BRIC's.
Sam Zell, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Google and Wal-Mart are all buying land and property as well as investments in Brazil right now, and see it as a great market to protect your funds. For further detailed information on why we chose Brazil, please visit our Country In Focus section of our International website.
The Project:

Well-Being is a growing necessity when considering the purchase of a new property or even when researching a vacation destination.
According to The Happy Planet survey of 2009, the highest-ranking G20 country in terms of HPI is Brazil, in 9th place out of 143 nations. The HPI is an innovative measure that shows the ecological efficiency with which human "well-being" is delivered around the world and has received very positive press coverage across the globe.
The HPI survey incorporates:
- Life satisfaction,
- Life expectancy
- Ecological footprint
The Lago Doce Hotel and Beach Resort endeavours to build on these results by creating a suitable environment for full time residents, tourists and locals.
'Community Well-being' is a concept that refers to an optimal quality of healthy community life, which is the ultimate goal of all the various processes and strategies that endeavour to meet the needs of people living together in communities. It encapsulates the ideals of people living together harmoniously in vibrant and sustainable communities.
- Beautifully landscaped gardens will assist in blending the development into the natural habitat of the coastline
- Low density, low-rise structures will ensure that the skyline is kept as nature intended it.
- Recycled rainwater is utilised onsite along with grey waters which are processed through our own purification and disinfection systems. We will test our water weekly, for Health Department requirements.
- Locally produces wind powered is incorporated into the development so as to remain as sustainable as possible.
Location
The Lago Doce Hotel and Beach Resort is located in the Praia de Guajiru, Trairi in Ceara State, just over an hour north of Fortaleza on Brazils north east coast. Trairi is an established town of over 40 thousand residents, predominantly involved in agriculture and fishing but with a growing market in handicrafts, leather goods and the blossoming leisure industries.
The Lago Doce Hotel and Beach Resort aims to create a great deal of local employment both during the construction of the project and then through staffing requirements on the completed resort. We are planning to donate 20 litres of paint to the locals so that they may paint their own properties and keep the area looking clean and cared for.
Guajirú
Praia de Guajirú boasts white dunes and wide sandy beaches surrounded by coconut palms. It is the perfect place for families who enjoy safe bathing, clean beaches and the opportunity to watch the local craftsmen as they magically create beautiful adornment pieces as you wander along the beachfront paseo. Several comfortable pousadas and inns accommodate tourists and a handful of local restaurants offer traditional meals and beverages.
The Guajirú area caters for luxury tourism and offers a pleasant selection of very good restaurants, boutique shops, one or two internet cafes and some lively bars. There is a cosmopolitan feel to the town and you will often overhear, English, German, French and Polish interspersed with the Brazilian Portuguese conversations.
Guajirú is reminiscent of Naples Florida, Cannes France or Marbella Spain some 30 years ago, before they took off as the "in places" to be seen on vacation.
One of the most popular hotels in the area is the Rede Beach Resort http://www.rede-resort.com.br/index_e.php.
Trairi
Trairi is just 3 degrees south of the equator, meaning the climate is excellent with temperatures ranging between 24ºC and 32ºC throughout the year. As the area continues to develop, international eateries are starting appear, catering for the differing tastes of the overseas market. The Brazilians are welcoming these new and in many cases strange cuisines and attitudes with the open mindedness that they are famous for.
Flexeiras and Trairi are swiftly becoming sought after tourist destinations by Brazilians from the south of the country, neighbouring Latin American countries and also by international travellers from further afield. Visitors recognise the area as one of natural beauty, reminiscent of the laid back attitude of the Caribbean and investment opportunities to those previously found in Spain, Portugal and even Florida 30-40 years ago - but without the prospect of high rise atrocities.
The Trairi area is a genuine Garden of Eden for those who enjoy adventure sports. Sunny skies during most of the year, miles of shoreline, giant dunes, winds and excellent sea waves compose the perfect canvas for off-road, sand boarding, surf, windsurf and kitesurf competitions which are held throughout the year.
Large dunes and wide palm tree plantations form cinematic landscapes which beckon and delight visitors to the area. Sculpted by the warm Atlantic waters and its offshore prevailing winds, the beaches surrounding Trairi are the ideal location on which to relax and unwind or rev up the adrenalin and go kitesurfing, windsurfing, dune racing and a plethora of other intense sporting activities.
