The Gulf's Tourism and Property Investment Forum comes to Oman in October 2009

The Gulf's largest tourism and property conference will be held over three days in Muscat in October, signalling the fast growth of the Sultanate of Oman as a rapidly expanding regional centre for both tourism and large scale integrated property development.

Marriott expands in Dubai

Marriott International, which operates six hotels in Dubai, is planning to further expand its presence in the emirate, The National has reported. RERA launches licensing initiative to upgrade Dubai real estate valuations and outlaw 'broker valuers'

Dubai's Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) today announced a major new initiative which will see the regulator license valuers to carry on their profession in the emirate. The move will restrict the practice of carrying out valuations of land and buildings in Dubai to those authorized to do so who obtain a RERA licence.
